Privacy Policy

Promise Card / Promise Box (“the app”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app does not require you to create an account.

Information We Collect

  • Usage and analytics data

    We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (for example which screens are opened). This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.

  • Crash diagnostics

    We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports so we can fix bugs.

  • Advertising identifier

    The app shows ads via Google AdMob. With your permission, the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) may be used to deliver and measure personalized ads. If you decline tracking, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.

  • Prayer posts (community feed)

    If you submit a prayer to the community feed, the text you write is stored and shown publicly to other users. Posts are anonymous — we do not attach your name, email, or account to them.

How We Use Information

To operate and improve the app, display and measure ads, diagnose crashes, and run the community prayer feed.

Tracking & Your Choices

On iOS the app asks for permission before any cross-app tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. For users in the EEA/UK we also gather consent for personalized advertising through Google’s consent platform. You can change these choices any time in your device settings or the in-app privacy options.

Community Content & Moderation

The prayer feed is user-generated. We have zero tolerance for objectionable or abusive content. You can report any post or block a poster from within the app. Reported content and offending posters are reviewed and removed within 24 hours.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by our service providers Google Firebase and Google AdMob to provide the functionality above. Their use of data is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Data Retention & Deletion

Analytics and crash data are retained per Google’s standard retention periods. To request deletion of a prayer post or any data, contact us at the address below.
